Beauty Boxes - The Glamour Beauty Power List 2014! :)

I love beauty products as much as the next person, but I've never been someone who spends their money on beauty boxes. I probably would if I had a bit more money to be honest, but most of them are kept secret until you open them, and the thought of spending around £15 on products that you might not end up using just doesn't seem quite worth it in my eyes as I have more than enough beauty products as it is!

I heard about the Glamour Beauty Edit box on Twitter when other bloggers were posting about it, and I decided to have a little look at what was inside. It is a collaboration between Latest in Beauty and Glamour Magazine, and includes products handpicked by the beauty director of Glamour. What I like about this box is that it tells you what's inside beforehand, so there's no nasty surprises when you purchase it! I prefer it this way so you can decide whether you'll use the products and it will be beneficial for you to spend your money!

The box itself is only £15.99 with free delivery, and the products inside come to over £80, so for that reason it is definitely a bargain, as long as you make sure you are going to use the products themselves! Once I'd had a nosey at what was inside, I decided that every single product would actually come in handy to me and that I should take the plunge and order myself one! :)

Phillip Kingsley's Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray - RRP £7.50
Firstly is this 60ml bottle of Philip Kingsley's Damage Defence spray. You can use it every day as a leave-in conditioner which promises defence from daily heat styling, breakage and environmental effects. It also detangles the hair and adds shine. I'm really excited about trying this out as my hair is pretty dry and frizzy!

James Read Sleep Mask Tan - RRP (approx) £12.50
I couldn't find this exact size of James Read Sleep Mask Tan online anywhere but a bottle for double the size is £25 so this bottle would be worth around £12.50. The product uses ingredients including Aloe Vera, Cucumber, Hyaluronic Acid and Red Algae to moisturise and soothe the skin overnight, and promises to guarantee a subtle golden glow by morning. This is another product I'm really excited to try out as I love to use fake tan on a night out and sometimes your face does end up that one shade lighter than your body so it will be nice to be able to prep my face the night before too!

Eyeko Eye Makeup Remover Wipes
Eyeko 'Mascara Off' Eye Make-Up Remover Wipes - RRP £6.00
I don't really use make up remover wipes as I take all my make up off in one using micellar water and pads, but I am definitely interested in giving these a try. Even if I just end up keeping them for when I stay away or go camping, they'll definitely come in handy at some point! You only get 10 wipes in a packet which ends up being quite expensive per wipe, 60p each, which I wouldn't buy if it didn't come in this beauty box.

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse & Polish - RRP £5.50

I actually already have this product in a full sized version (which is usually around £19.75 for 150ml including two muslin clothes) and this travel version is currently on the website too as £5.50 for 30ml including one muslin cloth. I absolutely love this product and was pleased to find out that there was a miniature version in this beauty box. The travel size of this will be perfect for when I'm going away for the weekend and an extra muslin cloth is always fab! I'll be writing up a blog post on this product at some point as I really do love it! :)

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - RRP £18.50
This product was a big reason that I ended up buying this beauty box. I've always wanted to try some Laura Mercier products out, particuarly this foundation primer. I can't wait to see how this product makes my foundation look as I always use primers but I've never used an 'expensive' one before and I'm really excited to see the difference!

Maybelline Colorstay Stripped Nude Lipstick in 'Coffee Craze' - RRP £6.99
These lipsticks were a bit 'hit and miss' on whether you'd end up getting one you liked because you could end up with one of five! Luckily for me, I absolutely love the shade in my box, and I've actually been on the lookout for a coffee shade like this! I'm excited to try this out as I usually go for matte finish lipsticks and this is more of a moisturising shine lipstick.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara - RRP £9.99
This is a full sized version of the mascara and although I'm excited to use it, you can't really go wrong with a mascara so I'm sure I'll love it as I'm not fussy! :) It has a unique brush to wrap around each eyelash and leave you with clump free lashes! I've heard a lot of good things about this mascara so I can't wait to give it a go!

Wednesday wishlist #20 - A beauty edition!

I've been incorporating beauty posts more and more into my blog recently and I'm really enjoying it. Since blogging, my small collection of beauty products has turned into make-up bags and make-up bags full of exciting products, and my wishlist just keeps on getting bigger as I'm hearing about bigger and better things! I decided that this Wednesday I should dedicate a wishlist specifically for the beauty things I've been lusting after recently, as there is quite a few! :)

Bleach London in the shade 'Rose' - £5.00
Ever since Bleach London launched a year or two ago, I've been itching to try out most of their range, but specifically the pink shade 'Rose'. But that was kinda impossible at the time as my hair was a dark brown. Over the months, I've transitioned into a blondie and think that now might be the right time! I've wanted pinky/purpley hair for years now, but this shade of Rose seems like such a gorgeous washy pink colour!

Lush Blousey Banana Shampoo - £18.00
When I was first looking in Lush for a shampoo to suit my hair, I was looking for the well-known and well loved 'Big', but after reading into it I decided that 'Blousey' was probably more what my hair needs. It's been made for dry hair like mine and is about moisturising and nourishing the hair, which my hair definitely needs after going blonde, and it smells of bananas which I love! :)

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in 'The Vintage Vamp' - £38.00

I have heard ridiculously good things about Charlotte Tilbury products recently and I would definitely like to try some out for myself! I'm in love with the shades in this quad eyeshadow palette, they're the perfect Autumn/Winter colours. The price is slightly off-putting though as I know that I could get another Naked Palette for this much, but the colours are so pretty!

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover - £4.99
When it comes to painting my nails, and then removing the nail polish from my nails, I am super lazy! I like to leave them all chipped, haha not really but that's often what they end up like! I've heard really good things about this Bourjois nail polish remover. You simply put your finger into the sponge soaked in polish remover, twist your finger, pull it out and the polish has been removed! The perfect product for a lazy girl like me!

Benefit They're Real! Push Up Liner - £18.50
I'm a lover of a big old black cat flick when it comes to eyeliner, and I'm forever looking for the perfect product. I've tried thick felt tip pen styles, I've tried pot and brush styles, and now I'd like to try this Benefit push up style. I love their Benefit They're Real! Mascara so I have a feeling I'll love this too! You can get this product for free in this month's Elle so I'll definitely be picking that up! :)

Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter - £24.50
My next lust is another product from Benefit. I've only really started using a highlighting product on my face in the last couple of years. I started off with Benefit High Beam but it isn't as noticable as a powder form, and then I've been using the MUA powder highlighter daily. I really want to try out this product, all the pictures I've seen where the person is wearing it, make them look so lovely and shiny!

Tanya Burr Individual Lashes - £5.49
I was a big fan of Tanya Burr's Lips and Nails collection, and I definitely want to get my hands on some of her lashes collection now! I've never tried out individual lashes before so I think these would be the perfect ones for me to invest in first, but the whole range looks lovely too!

Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.75
The name of this bubble bar makes me laugh so much, it just reminds me of Charlie the Unicorn! (Anyone else? No?) I love the whole Christmas range that Lush brings out, and this is just one of many products I would like to try this year! With pink being my favourite colour, I bet this leaves the loveliest colours in the bath tub

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum - £43.50
I've never really been one for expensive perfumes, I've been more than happy with my Britney Spears bottles (which still get me a surprising amount of compliments), Kate Moss and the occasional fancy bottle of something for my birthday, but this one is most definitely on my wishlist! I first heard of it through Sammi from The Beauty Crush, and I've since been in store to smell it and it's gorgeous!

Yet another Charlote Tilbury product has crept its way into my wishlist. I have quite a large lipstick range, covering from nude, to pinks and red, to dark burgundys, but I've been on the lookout for a 90s brown and I think this one is the PERFECT shade.

Iconemesis - Fifi Lapin iPhone case :)

As a Fashion Design graduate and general lover of all things fashion and blogging, I've always been a big fan of Fifi Lapin. Even if you aren't quite sure what or who she is, I'm sure you'll recognise the quirky little illustrations of her. Fifi is a fictional rabbit who blogs herself illustrated in the latest catwalk looks. She's such a cutie with tall white ears and pink cheeks, and has been named the 'world's most stylish bunny' by Elle Magazine! :)

I actually featured this iPhone case in my massive birthday wishlist blog post last April, so when I was recently approached by Iconemesis to review one of their iPhone cases and I saw that they still had this case but in an iPhone 5 option, I just knew that I had to have it. They have quite a few Fifi cases on the site, but this one with her in 12 seperate outfits was my instant favourite :)

The print illustrations are of a really high quality and the finish is lovely and shiny. The case itself is really sturdy and I was surprised by how easy it was to remove from the iPhone as most cases seem to get stuck on! The 'iconemesis' font at the bottom is a lovely gold shade, I just generally love this iPhone case!

Thank you for reading :)
Have you ever bought a case from iconemesis?
Would you add this to your Christmas wishlist?

My AW14 Motel Rocks picks and a 20% off discount code :)

Motel Rocks seem to do it perfectly seasonally. Even though not every piece of clothing is to my specific taste, there is always a vast range of clothing that I add to my wishlist every single season. I absolutely love Autumn/Winter looks. The fur, lace and dark florals. This year it includes some two-pieces, tartan and bell sleeved dresses... you really can't go wrong!

Motel Moonchild Skater Dress - £48
(Would be £38.40 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - I've been obsessed with this dress ever since I first set my eyes on it. The embroidery on the sleeves and the sweetheart neckline is just so gorgeous.

Motel Rosey Long Sleeve Skater Dress in Black - £49
(Would be £39.20 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - I'm definitely going to be getting my hands on this dress. The bell sleeve detailing is literally to die for. This dress is available in a couple of colours and the black version is perfect for this Halloween witchy vibe.

Motel Nicole Cami Top in New White - £28
(Would be £22.40 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - I've loved bralet tops for the whole of Summer, and I think this white version with a longer peplum is perfect for layering during the colder months. They way Motel have styled it here with some high waisted black jeans would look so lovely with a leather jacket and a fur stole.

Motel Paloma Crop Top in Antique Posey - £30
(Would be £24.00 and £23.20 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - As you may have seen from a previous outfit of the day post, I own this print already in a maxi skirt and a bralet. But now I have my eyes on this two piece. If I end up with them all it does mean I can totally mix and match them up through-out the reasons, but I just love this print so much!

Motel Jude Kimono Sleeve Playsuit in Winter Rose - £40
(Would be £32 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - I loved this Winter Rose print during the Summer and got myself a lovely little skater dress. Now that the colder months are here, I'm loving this kimono sleeve playsuit. It would look so gorgeous with some black tights and layered up necklaces.

(Would be £30.40 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - I actually featured this dress on my most recent wishlist. I don't know what I like about it so much, I just really want to wear it with black tights, some t-bar dolly shoes and an oversized coat and fur stole.

Motel Rosey Long Sleeve Skater Dress in Cream  - £49
(Would be £39.20 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - This is the same dress as the black one featured above, and yet again the best bit about it is the bell sleeves. In cream it can be dressed up for a night out, or it could be layered up with a fringed bag for the perfect festival outfit during the Summer. Another definite on my wishlist!

(Would be £38.40 with discount code 'FLORALDANIELLE') - Another black garment to add to my already black wardrobe. I really love this dress though, it could definitely be worn during Summer and Winter months, layered up when it's more cold. I love how Motel Rocks have styled it with big chunky boots as that's how I'd wear it. It would look so lovely during AW14 with a big chunky jumper over the top.

Favourite bloggers of the month #5

I solemnly swear to write my monthly favourite bloggers post EVERY MONTH. I spent every spare minute of every day reading blogs and swooning over fashion bloggers outfits yet I always forget to do these blog posts and I love doing them! I have another three awesome bloggers to show you this month, and I will continue to do so every month from now on :)

My first favourite blogger of this month is the lovely Tilly from Tilly-Jayne. I've been a fan of Tilly's blog forever now and I'm absolutely obsessed with her current silver hair! She mixes the perfect amount of high street with designer (definitely jealous of her gorgeous Mulberry bag), and the fur collars and loafers she's been wearing lately are perfect.

Introduce yourself and your blog?
Hello! I'm Tilly, I'm a 22 year old fashion marketing student based near Cambridge. I started this blog around the age of 19 as I had decided to re-apply for uni to study a more fashion focused course than I had previously applied for. I thought it would be something good to write on my personal statement, and then it started to grow into something a little more!

Where does your blog name come from?
I couldn't decide what to call my blog so I went for my name, I wish I had been a little more creative but oh well!

Where are your favourite places to shop for clothes and accessories?
ASOS is my fave but also Zara and when I'm in London I always have to pop into COS and & Other Stories!

Do you have a favourite style icon?
I know it's a bit of a common one but the Olsen twins definitely inspired my love for fashion and I always admire Olivia Palermo's outfits. She always looks so perfect.

Which song/songs do you have on repeat recently?
It's not on repeat BUT I can't get Taylor Swifts new song out of my head!!! Shake shake shake.

Which item of clothing can you not stop wearing recently?
Faux fur! Stoles, jackets, clutches! I'm obsessed with it this A/W.

Don't forget you can also follow Tilly on Twitter and Instagram :)

Secondly is the babe Georgia from Georgia Luisa Meramo. She has amazing hair, an amazing wardrobe and an amazing taste in music! I love her simplistic monochrome clothing which she layers up in the loveliest of ways, and she always finds the most beautiful backgrounds to shoot in front of!

Introduce yourself and your blog?
I’m Georgia, a 20 year old student/blogger/cat owner from London. I started my blog in 2012 after finding people like Lily Melrose and Emma (Milkteef) and thinking it seemed like a load of fun!

Where does your blog name come from?
My blog name is simply my own name, very creative. It was originally shortened to “GLAM” as those are my full initials, but I’ve dropped it down to my ‘main’ name now.

Where are your favourite places to shop for clothes and accessories?
I’m loving the higher end of the high street at the moment, spending all of my pennies in & Other Stories, COS & Whistles. But I’m a diehard ASOS fan, they’re just the best.

Do you have a favourite style icon?
I’m not sure about one style icon, I love Pinterest and use it all the time for inspo. I also like the usual celebs like the Olsens, Alexa Chung etc!

Which song/songs do you have on repeat recently?
I cannot stop listening to a really old song by a band called 36 Crazyfists called Bloodwork! I used to love it back in the day and I recently re-discovered it. I also love the newest Born of Osiris album, so pretty much just always stick that on shuffle. If you couldn’t tell, I listen to metal, haha!

Which item of clothing can you not stop wearing recently?
I am forever wearing my ASOS grey coat at the mo, I picked it up in the sale last season for fashion week but it’s just perfect for everything. It instantly dresses up jeans and trainers and I can wear it on cold nights out too!

Don't forget you can also follow Georgia on Twitter and Instagram :)

Lastly to be featured in this month's post is the super sweet Ellen from Ellen Atlanta. I'm absolutely in love with her girly outfits, paired with chunky heels and cute buns in her hair. Her DIY fluffy shoes are my favourite, I might need to make myself a pair! Another thing which needs to be mentioned is her painted claws that I am totally jealous of, and her amazing ring collection!

Introduce yourself and your blog?
My name is Ellen Atlanta, I'm an 18 year old journalism student currently living in central London. I started my blog quite a while ago, simply because it combines all the things I love doing - putting outfits together, keeping up with trends, social media, photography and writing. I was inspired by loads of other bloggers and just thought I should give it a shot, I'm so glad I did because blogging has become a really important part of my life, I love it!

Where does your blog name come from?
It's just my name! My first name and middle name :)

Where are your favourite places to shop for clothes and accessories?
I regularly check the websites of most major brands, but most things in my wardrobe come from Topshop, ASOS and Goodwill, I always find the best bargains there when I visit my Dad in America, some of my most-worn pieces of clothing cost less than $5!

Do you have a favourite style icon?
I don't really have just one, I get most of my inspiration from bloggers rather than celebrities though.

Which song/songs do you have on repeat recently?
Oh god, I'd love to say something cool and original here but honestly, my music taste is so lame! At the moment I'm loving Drunk and Incapable by Krishane or Steal my Girl by One Direction…failing that I looovve listening to anything 90s, you can't beat old school Britney or Avril Lavigne.

Which item of clothing can you not stop wearing recently?
At the moment, I would say my ripped black skinnies and my lilac duster coat, I also have some over-the-knee boots coming in the post though and I just know I'm going to be obsessed with them.

Don't forget you can also follow Ellen on Instagram and BlogLovin :)

Thanks for reading :)
I hope you've found some lovely new blogs to follow!
Did you already follow all these girlies?
