Guest post: My top 5 bargains with Sade from In My Sunday Best :)

Hey guys, Danielle here :) as some of you may have seen, for the past few weeks I've started having some of my favourite bloggers guest post for me every Saturday until I finish my uni course! I'm so busy right now it's ridiculous, but I don't wanna absolutely forget about my blog, so I thought the perfect thing to do would be to let them take over Floral Danielle so you guys still have some lovely posts to read! Today's post has been written by the lovely Sade from In My Sunday Best :)

Hello! I'm Sade from IN MY SUNDAY BEST. I blog about everything from fashion to lifestyle, but I have a particular soft spot for bargains. I've compiled a little list of my top five bargains, some aren't bargains in the sense of price, but rather what I got for my money if that makes sense!

1. Etched Satchel £4 from Primark

I picked up this Satchel a few years ago and it has served me well since then! I've noticed that it has actually made a resurgance and it's back in selected stores for this Spring/Summer. Make sure you pick one up!

2. Sheer Floral Dress £1.99 from Barnados

I saw this in my local Barnados' shop window a few days ago and literally ran in to snatch this up before anyone else could! I love how sheer and floaty it is, perfect for summer and such a steal.

3. Pentax Ist DS £125 from London Camera Exchange

My trusty camera was a bargain from a second hand camera store, when I first started blogging i couldn't quite afford the blogger favourite Canon 600D, so i did some research and found this Pentax, complete with lens and accessories for only £125, a fraction of the price of the Canon. It's not perfect, but it does a pretty darn good job!

4. Tartan Midi Skirt £1 from East End Thrift Store

East End Thrift Store occasionally have these crazy Warehouse pound sales where you basically rummage around like a headless chicken for bargains in what feels like an abandoned car park! I spotted this gem under a pile of coats and it was love at first sight!

5. Camel Coat £30 from WAREHOUSE

I had been eyeing this coat from when it was full price at £60. I had a giftcard for Warehouse but i'd been saving it for a special ocasion, and after christmas I popped into the Oxford Circus branch and found it had be slashed to half price and it was the last one in my size! I'm sure it was fate!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let us know what your top bargains of all time are below!

Hello lovelies, I'm Amy from Dolly Daydream and today the lovely Danielle has asked me to share with you my top 5 bargains. If you follow my blog then you will know that I a keen bargain hunter and often find myself buying things at only a fraction of the price you'd usually pay. I tend to find most of my bargains at in charity shops and vintage fairs so here are my top 5.

Edinburgh Woolen Mill Men's Cable Knit Sweater - £2.50
This has to be one of my best ever bargains because, those of you have ever been in EWM will know that their jumpers are not normally this cheap at average at around £35. I was lucky enough to pick this up in a charity shop in Warwick and it's great as an cosy oversized sweater to keep me snuggly warm in the Winter and is in the most perfect berry colour which matches with well with most of my wardrobe. I think the lesson learnt from this jumper is go to charity shops in posh areas as you're bound to pick up more expensive items for dirt cheap.

Mom Jeans - £2.75
Ah my beloved mom jeans. I had longed over this style of jeans for ages and I managed to find the most perfect style once again in a charity shop for less than £3. The style and quality is pretty much identical to the ones you find in high street stores such as Topshop but for a fraction of the price. So if you don't want to pay £40 for this style of jeans, have faith and regularly visit local charity shops as you're bound to find some.

Velvet Skater Skirt - £2.50
This skirt is originally from Primark but I could never find it in store so I was amazed when I found this in a charity shop at even cheaper than the Primark price of £6 and in my size - it must have been fate. I am a huge lover of all things velvet so it was a perfect addition to my collection.

Vintage Mint Jumper - £6.99
Another place that I tend to find bargains is at my local vintage fair, which they sadly no longer hold, but when it was up a running I could always guarantee that I would find beautiful vintage items that are much cheaper than your high street vintage stores which tend to bump up their prices just because the item is vintage. I found this lovely turtle neck sweater in such a pretty mint green shade that is perfect for the Spring.

Vintage Cardigan - £3
The last time I was at a vintage fair I spotted this beauty in the sale at a mere £3 which is super cheap considering that it's 100% cashmere which is pretty expensive at full price. It is so soft and snuggly and perfect for throwing on with an outfit to add a little bit of colour.

What are your top 5 bargains?

Hello there I'm Laura from That's So Yesterday, Danielle has bravely let me take over on her blog with a guest post. As my personal fashion style is a tad out there, I thought that instead I would use my thrifty skills and share some budget friendly bedroom inspiration. I'm not sure why, but I love buying new bedding it's the easiest way of giving your room an instant update. With Spring in the air it can be a nice time to add some colour, print and texture in the room.

I'm not really into plain and simple, but if you are you could always buy a extra set of pillow cases in a colour that will suit the set and swap them for the patterned ones. If you want to just dial it down a little, and make it easy on the eye. A couple of pillows throw on, and some nice smelly candles make your room feel more cosy. I sometimes like to blog from my bed, and it's nice to feel comfortable and have good lighting also. So a nice lamp or lampshade can change the whole feel again. I actual purchased this kids lampshade for my bedroom, as I just loved the patchwork pattern so much. Don't be afraid to buy something if you like it, I think it can go where you decided it seems obvious but some times you may not think of it in another space of your house. I hope this has inspire you, and you find some nice pieces for your bedroom.

Hi lovelies! I was asked by Danielle to do a post on my top five bargains, whether they be from eBay, car boot sales or charity shops. As I'm obsessed with them all, I've included a nice little mix. I do have so many things though so it was difficult to choose just five. I went for four things which I've gotten so much wear out of, and one which is a bit crazy looking but a beautiful bargain nonetheless!

Firstly I have this polkadot dress from Topshop. I'd wanted this dress for ages and finally got my hands on it for about £5. It's something I've worn so much, whether it's during winter with cosy tights or during the summer with a nice pair of sandals.

Another Topshop item which I managed to score for about £5 on eBay! It's so delicate and pretty, and goes perfect with so many skirts/jeans (okay, mostly black things as that's my favourite).

This pretty little peter pan collar top was only £1 from a charity shop - it became one of my favourites instantly! It's originally from George @ Asda. I love wearing it with black skinnies or tucked into a high-waisted skirt.

My last Topshop item (sorry, haha) is this dinosaur jumper which I definitely lusted after when it was in store. I'd just been at the dentist one sunny morning and happened to go into a charity shop where I got this for about £4 I think...such a good bargain!

Okay so my last item is a bit out there...it certainly reminds me of a Barbie doll gown or something (pretty sure I had a doll with a similar dress haha). It's not something I've worn yet as I haven't had any offers to attend a pink themed ball...but when I saw this for £5 at a car boot sale I just had to have it, it's like a beautiful piece of vintage candyfloss!

I hope you've enjoyed this post, I'd love to hear about your favourite bargains! xo
