Benefit's new Puff Off undereye gel! :)

Recently, in general life, I had been looking for the perfect under-eye gel as I suffer quite badly from dark circles and puffiness in the mornings. So when I heard that Benefit were bringing out their own product that claimed to reduce puffy eyes as well as smooth fine lines, I was very excited. This morning I was awoken to the sound of the postman at the door and a mystery pink parcel was placed into my hands. I hadn't ordered anything so I was really intrigued as to what it was, and much to my delight it was a brand new Benefit product to try out! As I had just woken up, it was the perfect time to try out my new Puff Off, so here is how I got on :)

Benefit 'Puff Off' Eye Gel - £22.50*

As per usual, the Benefit packaging is as cute as pie, meaning that I never want to throw away the outer packaging on any of their products! I've only tried out this product once, and I can already tell that I love it. It's perfect for someone like me who aims to get to bed by 11pm but is still scrolling through blogs and YouTube at gone 2am, as it totally masks your dark circles and reduces the puffiness under your eyes. It's a blending primer (a bit like Porefessional but less thick) which helps reduce the look of puffy eyes. It also contains light-diffusing particles which help smooth away the appearance of fine lines.

Puff Off is literally perfect for these January blues we all seem to be feeling, when there's no Christmas left to look forward to but it's still freezing cold! I put the product on in the morning, then went to eat my breakfast before getting ready to do my make up, and when I went back to the mirror to check how it was looking I was pleasantly surprised. It hadn't made my dark circles totally disappear, but it had definitely masked them. It had left a lovely matte finish, but is so thin that you can't notice it and no product is left to be seen. It worked as an amazing primer for my foundation and under-eye concealer, and I'm very happy to say that this product works perfectly for me! You do only get 10ml of product in the tube (it's a little bit smaller than the Porefessional), so I'll use it on days when my eyes are looking a little more puffy or tired. It can be used first thing in the morning under your make up to help with morning under-eye situations, but it can also be used throughout the day over your make up to touch up.

My favourite bit about the whole product is the custom tip which is shaped like a miniature iron to literally 'iron out' your fine lines! It is shaped for the perfect gliding performance and is cool on contact which is lovely for puffy morning eyes. I actually found the shape to be perfect as it gets right into the corners of your eyes unlike the usual rollerball eye gels. It really does feel lovely to use as it's so cold and glides on without tugging on the skin at all, and it's quite hydrating as it sinks into the skin so well.

And thank you so much Benefit for sending me this product!
As an avid Benefit lover for years it's so nice to be working with you! :)
Do you like the sound of this product and would you buy it yourself?
It launches in stores and online on 31st January!

Benefit Lollitint cheek and lip stain review and swatches! :)

I would describe my blog as a fashion, beauty and vintage blog, but it has been lacking in the beauty side of things recently so I've been trying to post a few beauty reviews here and there to spice it up a little! As a student studying Fashion Design day in and day out, it's quite nice to step back from it all and appreciate doing the little things like your make up for a night out! The course has been really stressful lately and I've been to busy that I haven't even had time to do my hair or make up properly in ages, so when we have the occasional Friday night out it's really fun to get to try some of my products I've had sitting in a make up bag waiting to be used!

The product I've pulled outta the make up bag today is Lolli Tint from Benefit. It is a 'Candy Orchid Tinted Lip and Cheek Stain' which they recently released for S/S 14. This is actually the first cheek or lip stain I have ever owned, and I'm loving it so far. The first thing I noticed was how lovely the packaging itself was! Benefit always have gorgeous packaging, and I must admit that even though I'm not always the girliest girl, pink is definitely my favourite colour!

The instructions are quick and easy, literally just brush a little of the product onto your cheek or lips and quickly blend in. You can layer the product up for a darker look if you wish, but I usually find that just one little stroke is enough to give you a lovely colour. I love the words 'flirtiest flush' and 'dreamy sweetness' in the description of the product, and I most definitely agree!

The product itself almost looks like a little nail varnish pot and brush. I love the metallic finishing on the pot itself and it is nice and small so that you can easily fit it in your handbag. The colour itself actually happens to be the Pantone colour of 2014 - Radiant Orchid, which is a gorgeous purple-y pink, slightly more purple than Benefit Posietint.

How cute are the little fold-out instructions booklet that comes with these Benefit tints?! I really love the fashion illustrations with step-by-step pictures which are simplistic and stylish, just how I like it! :)

Here is a swatch of the product on the skin, and the product rubbed in. This swatch is on my arm so it will look slightly different on your face and depending on your skin tone, but you can see the lovely light purple shade that is left once it has been rubbed in.

This photo was taken before a night out recently where I was wearing the Benefit Lollitint just on my cheeks. You can see even from a distance how lovely the colour is, and it has quickly become my go-to blusher/tint! It isn't the cheapest product at £24.50, but anyone who has bought a liquid product from Benefit before, will know that it literally lasts for about a year, or more, so I would definitely say that it is worth the investment, and that I would repurchase it again! For those of you who don't follow me on instagram (@floraldanielle), I have been starting to dye my hair blonder for the Summer!

Do you own any of the Benefit tints?
Would you invest in Lollitint?

Wednesday wishlist one :)

I should be getting on with my ridiculous amount of uni work due in in 10 days, but I've come across so many lovely bits this week that I couldn't not put them into a blog post :). I'm gonna start doing a weekly Wednesday wishlist from now on too!

How ridiculously cute?! Harriet has a whole range of hand drawn dogs on iPhone cases, make up bags etc, go check them out! :)

I've literally heard nothing but good things about this mascara. It's quite a lot for a mascara but they do last for a long time so I'll just call it an investment ;)

I've got Benefit High Beam liquid highlighter but I'd really like to try out a powder highlighter. I've heard really good things about this one, and at £10 it doesn't break the bank!

I've had my eye on this jumper for ages. I think I'd prefer a jumper version rather than a t-shirt. I'd like to wear it with a cute little collar coming out of the top :)

My friend Amy from uni ordered these leggings, and I've wanted them ever since! They are from America though so the postage might be quite a lot, and depending on how much you order you may need to pay custom charges so be wary before you make a massive order :). I wish they stocked them somewhere in the UK though, £12.52 is a bargain!

I really want to get myself some new rings and especially some above knuckle rings. This teardrop one from Dixi is gorgeous :)

I've been obsessed with iamVibes clothing since I found them through twitter. Until recently they had a lot of sold out stock, but they've now restocked it all and I'm tempted to buy the whole shop!

As you all know, I'm obsessed with hamsa hands. Long story short, they remind me of a necklace my mum used to wear when I was young and me and my sister want matching tattoos of it. This t-shirt design is so lovely and intricate! :)

Lastly is this gorgeous pendulum necklace from Empty Casket. I've loved this brand for ages and want most of the things on their website, but I was particularly drawn to this necklace after seeing it on Robyn's blog. You can change the stone to go with each outfit you wear which is perfect - seven necklaces in one! :)

Do you have any of these on your wishlist?
